NEC New Zealand signs partnership agreement with Civtec to deliver Enable Fibre Broadband upgrades

NEC New Zealand has signed a partnership agreement with Civtec to deliver upgrades across the Enable Fibre Network.

Civtec is an infrastructure construction company specialising in the end to end delivery of telecommunications networks, civil and utilities infrastructure. They have a strong focus on customer service, improving people’s lives through connections they make, linking communities with the world around them.

At the end of 2021, Civtec was awarded the Enable Fibre Broadband contract. Civtec is an experienced telecommunications infrastructure company with the ability to design, construct, connect and maintain modern telecommunications networks including both fixed and wireless.

With the Enable Fibre Broadband contract, they wanted to ensure they could provide high-quality services across all aspects of the contract and chose to partner with NEC New Zealand to complete the upgrades across the Enable Central Office network.

The agreement will enable Civtec to leverage NEC NZ’s experienced and highly skilled Field Engineers across all of New Zealand.
