For 15 years The Special Children’s Christmas Party has been a regular highlight of the NEC New Zealand Ltd calendar. That is a long time for any organisation to support a particular event, which is what makes it such a special day for NEC staff.
It’s easy to donate money or even time but as an old saying goes; the more you put in, the more you get out. At this event we get to see first-hand the smiles on the faces of the children, which for us is what makes the difference.
At every event across New Zealand, these children are treated to a day of celebrity stage shows, fun rides, interactive games, plenty of yummy food, face painting and many more fun activities.
Our favourite part of the day is escorting the children through the Toy Cave and helping them select their gift. Here you can see your donation turning into a smile, and for some, every smile is precious.
