Overview

PanelDirector is a system to schedule and control any content and information on display panels. You can distribute exciting content to target panels according to your schedule, yet still react to important events.
PanelDirector is the enabler allowing you to attract peoples attention and convey your message using imaginative and dynamic methods.
You can schedule your content based on date or time and also have the ability to interrupt the scheduled information with important messages, news flashes, weather, webcam or DVD content.
Display rich video content, images, presentations, animated graphics, you can even combine other video sources such as DVD, TV, video camera, game consoles.
You can split your screen and for example display a music video on 3/4 of the screen and DVD/Video/CD pricing and top 10 lists in other panes. This can be achieved so easily using existing templates or if you like create your own! Content can be updated by networking the display drivers using your LAN, over the Internet or off-line via USB memory devices.
This system is so easy to use you can be displaying targeted and customised messages in minutes.

Features

PanelDirector Standard works in a small network environment with up to 20 panels. A 'panel' can be made up of several screens displaying the same content, or a video wall. We have used PanelDirector to deliver solutions such as a TXT based jukebox, motion and zone based advertising, barcode based displays, facial recognition, speech recognition and advertising around existing CCTV feeds.

You can schedule your content based on date or time through a very user-friendly interface. It can manage multiple schedules and is performed on a central PC which can control up to 20 panels.
You can split your panel and have different content playing simultaneously in each pane. i.e. have a video on 3/4 of the panel and then smaller animations, information or prices etc showing on the side. Existing templates can be used which can be resized and re-used, or if you like, create your own designs.
Display panels are driven by processors which hold the media content on site. This allows you to send data out once and most importantly eliminate the need to be connected or having to streaming data, saving you bandwidth and money on communications requirements. As the content is held locally then there are no display performance issues due to network congestion.
Text information can be displayed using a text scroller. Varying size, colour, position, speed, font and types are available. If you need to get a message across quickly, this is the way. With PanelDirector there is no delay in creating a message and sending it out to whichever screen or group of screens you like.
The 'Center System' which performs the content scheduling, can manage multiple panels collectively or individually. i.e. you could group a regions panels together for anniversary weekend specials or have a special schedule for a group of panels targetted at a specific audience for maximum effect.
Various communication environments are supported by allowing dial-up, mobile, ISDN, TCP/IP LAN and off-line clients using USB memory to co-exist.
Standard scheduling can be interrupted to display emergency or important information. i.e. News flashes, weather updates, specials, upcoming events, webcam feeds, movie releases...
PC Control Schedules can include live web pages (including servlet and script execution) and even execute remote software (.exe files) for automatic display and updated information.
Display rich video content, images, presentations, animated graphics, and as the scheduling software will automatically change video inputs on the panel, you can combine other video sources such as DVD, TV, video cameras, game consoles...
Supported file formats: HTML, PowerPoint, Shockwave Flash, Still pictures (bmp, jpeg,gif, png), Animation and Video (mpeg, Window Media Files, Video files, RealMedia Files).
